Questions

Answers about the LogGrain audit: what to provide, how long it takes, personal data, visibility in assistants.

Do I need to install anything?

No. An export of your logs is enough: Cloudflare, Akamai or your own server.

What do I need to provide?

An export of thirty days of your logs: Cloudflare, Akamai or your own server. A data processing agreement is signed before anything is sent.

How long does it take?

The report is delivered within five working days of receiving the export.

What does the report contain?

What LogGrain read, agents by assistant, agents refused by the site, the product pages most read, probable impersonation, humans referred by an AI, two signals, and what the report does not say.

Does the report tell training bots apart from agents answering a customer?

Yes. It separates them, and shows what your configuration actually does to each.

My AI-referred traffic is small: does the audit make sense?

Human visits referred by an AI are often still small: less than 1% of total traffic, according to Bain. Agent reads, on the other hand, only show in your logs: that is what the audit measures, along with the share of your catalogue already read.

What about personal data?

Logs contain IP addresses. A data processing agreement is signed before anything is sent; the report contains no visitor address; raw logs are deleted once it is delivered.

Does LogGrain improve my place in assistants’ answers?

It promises no visibility in their answers. It shows which agents read your product pages and which ones your site refuses; you decide who gets through.
