AI agents read your listings. Your logs know it.
LogGrain shows online retailers which AI agents read their catalogue, which product pages, and which ones they block without knowing it, from the server logs their analytics tool cannot see.
How it works
Export
thirty days of logs: Cloudflare, Akamai or your own server.
Read
the cross-section report: agents by assistant, pages read, refusals, impersonation.
Decide
who to let through. LogGrain shows; it blocks nothing for you.
The cross-section report, as it comes out
Thirty-five days of logs from an imaginary shop. Here is what LogGrain makes of them.
Sample · fictitious data
- At the top
what this report does not say.
- By assistant
Every agent checked against the addresses published by its operator.
- Refusals
Claude-User refused by the shop’s firewall: 403.
- Product pages
The product pages agents actually read.
- Impersonation
Fake bots, set aside.
What you get
The cross-section report
A one-off audit, from an export of your logs. A written report, without a single visitor address.
The connector
Agent visits written into Piano or GA4, next to human traffic. In development.
Who it is for
For e-commerce, data and IT teams at retailers not on Shopify: Magento, PrestaShop, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, SAP Commerce, custom-built sites.
Why now?
In the first quarter of 2026, AI-referred visits to US retail sites rose 393% year on year, according to Adobe.
They are still a small share of traffic: less than 1% of the total, according to Bain. And those are only the humans who click.
The agents that read your product pages to answer their user do not run JavaScript: no tracking tool placed in the page sees them. They only show up in your logs.
LogGrain says which ones come by, what they read, and which ones your site turns away.

What LogGrain does not do
LogGrain promises no visibility in assistants’ answers. It blocks nothing for you.
Questions
Do I need to install anything?
No. An export of your logs is enough: Cloudflare, Akamai or your own server.
What about personal data?
Logs contain IP addresses. A data processing agreement is signed before anything is sent; the report contains no visitor address; raw logs are deleted once it is delivered.
